Finely bound in dark brown morocco leather with gilded raised bands gitl titles, marbled boards , edges & endpapers, seven coloured folding maps & four woodcuts, some underling in pencil and a tiny amount of foxing as is often found. Stanley traveled to Egypt & the middle east the previous year, he became Dean of Westminster abbey.
