A Rare limited deluxe edition very finely produced in full vellum with title on spine and the front board with quill and horse shoe ink pot, gilt ruling and gilt key`s in each corner, orange & gold silk endpapers, with a very fine book plate of a family crest, pages through out are of hand made paper by A King of Alton Mill, all rough cut or yapped edges, includes a bound in letter from the publishers stating this De Luxe edition is limited to 150 copies. This copy number 44 is signed by the author & the artist (the Wag) the author states that he asked the publisher for an artist to illustrate the book they supplied one from his Regiment who was, and remained unknown to him always. The book is written in an ammusing way but full of very usefull and knowledgeable information about difficult horses and training horses, both the water colour and sketch illustration are very funny indeed & every page is illustrated. 248 pages.
